Chestnut Street and Market Street Bridge Rehabilitation (E00660), Philadelphia – PennDOT
SEI completed rehabilitation design of the Chestnut Street Masonry Arch Bridge over the CSX tracks (76’ clear span length) and Masonry Arch Bridge over 24th Street. SEI also performed load ratings for the Market Street Bridge over the Schuylkill River. The Market Street Bridge is a 3-hinged steel arch structure

I-95 BRI Project – PENNDOT
Rehabilitation of Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange ramps, including 58 spans. Many of them are curved-girder structures. The existing curved structures are rated using the BSDI 3-D program for rehabilitation.

I-95 CAS Project – PENNDOT, 6-0
Design of one of the two ramps connecting the Commodore Barry Bridge to the Chester City Water Front Area. The total length of the ramp is about 1000′, consisting of a number of curved girder spans.

I-76, Section PBP, Schuylkill Expressway – PENNDOT, 6-0
In-depth inspection and rehab design for the main spans over the Schuylkill River and the south approach viaduct, a total of 25 spans.

I-95 Restoration (RES) Project – PENNDOT
Overall management of bridge inspection activities and as-inspected ratings for the entire project team on this project, consisting of the rehabilitation of six bridges, two viaducts, and two affected bridges along I-95 through Philadelphia, PA. Also provided seismic design, ultrasonic/magnetic particle testing, concrete coring and testing, strain gaging, and load testing as well as fatigue testing consultation to the prime consultant on complex viaduct structures. The tasks also included partial reconstruction design of Allegheny Avenue and Bleigh Avenue Bridges for reconstruction of Westmoreland and State Road Viaducts, respectively.
Tyburn Road Bridge Rehabilitation – PENNDOT, 6-0
Superstructure replacement design for a 3-span continuous steel bridge.
I-276/I-95 Interchange, Section D – PA Turnpike
TS&L design for Ramp C viaduct, 5 span structure including a two continuous span steel curved girder structure unit and a three-span P/S concrete structure unit and approximately 4,200′ of noise walls and 3,900′ of retaining walls.
